Bali is one of Varun’s favourite island holiday experiences on earth.
After landing at the international airport in the capital, Denpasar, he heads to The Mulia – a contemporary property in Nusa Dua. here he checks into one of the three hotels within the resort – The Mulia – a boutique property.
He settles into an amazing sea-view suite – which he reviews – and then meets with the resort’s manager who gives him an overview of the property.
From here, he drives to Bali Pulina where an unusual commodity is produced – cat poo coffee! Yes, really. The luwak (cat) eats the coffee bean and it’s digested before being roasted into a drinkable and expensive coffee. Varun drinks it!
It’s shopping time and Varun heads to “Ulawatu” – the finest lace & ladies clothing manufacturer on the island. He meets with its owner, Made Jati, and chooses a piece to buy for a friend.
Next Varun moves to one of the most famous resorts on the island – the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay. He heads straight to the kitchen to prepare a dish with Greg Bunt, Executive Chef who tells him all about the resort.
From there, Varun heads to his two-bedroom Royal Suite – complete with Swimming Pool! He is delighted.
The next day, Varun heads to Sayan and the “other” Four Seasons, the Four Seasons Bali at Sayan – in the rainforest.
Here, Varun works in a rice paddy field for his dinner but is also treated to an amazing spa experience.
Finally, Varun heads to the Temple of Uluwatu. Here, he feeds the cute but naughty monkeys and enjoys the amazing sunset Kecak Fire Dance.
